At one point in the Gospel of John, the disciples rejoice that Jesus moves from speaking to them in parables to speaking plainly about his identity as the Son of God and about his impending death and resurrection. "Now you are speaking clearly!", they say (John 16:29). This brief exchange serves as a microcosm of understanding how the whole Bible hangs together, and what (or, who) clarifies its sometimes veiled meaning.
This site is dedicated to providing articles and other resources to help you encounter the transforming story of Scripture and to find more joy and ease in reading the Bible.
Expect to find lots of conversation about finding Jesus in every verse, reading the Bible the way the Bible reads itself, basking in the undeserved grace of God, and seeing that it's the works of God’s hands, not ours, that ultimately matter.
